Today in Class – February 15, 2008

Today in class we began by watching clips of the following "poets" recite their work:

Sarah Kay – "Hands"
Alicia Keys – "P.O.W."
Cookie Monster  – "Poetry"

We then read the poem "Design" by Robert Frost (on page 560 of the Elements of Literature textbook) and discussed the elements of plot, character, theme, and irony.
